Just another big thumbs up here, InstantCake'd a S1 Phillips DirecTIVO that got corrupted after receiving a non lba48 kernel from D*. I've manually hacked this machine a few times but for the time saving...

Ok I answered my own question here you need to do export EMERGENCY_REINSTALL=1; ./slicer version and it will do an upgrade to the same version. Lets hope this stabilizes the tivo.

I'm not able to get them, I've tried forcing daily calls and I've even run the add63.tcl script and they don't show up

I figured it out. It was a bad patch to tivoapp. I redid the patch and now I was able to get to dialing options, tivoweb works. Gotta check I hit CSO correctly though

not good news. I copied the drive using the PTV 4.04 cd onto a new 300Mb drive. The copy appeared to go great and I can see the new space and all the recordings work...
