can I use InstantCake and PTVnet on 2 units?

I have the Phillips DSR704, my brother will be getting the Philips DSR708, can I use the InstantCake CD and PTVnet CD on both units? I have the 6.2 OS versions for both CD's and on my 704 machine, thanks
