Upgrading a Phillips 704, and want to put in a 200g drive, but also want to use the killhdinitrd kernel on your $5 CD to allow other hacks as well...

Is the 3.1.5 kernel that is on the $5 cd an LBA kernel?

If not, what do I need to do to be able to fully use the 200g drive, but still put other hacks on it for extraction ?
