I just purchased the latest version of InstantCake for my 540040 machine. I have heard that swap files need to be about 1MB for every 2GBs. My question is, does InstantCake initialize a swap partition of at least 150MB based on the size?
InstantCake prepares a 127MB swap file for these units. That is all that is needed. What you "heard" is not entirely incorrect, but is mostly wrong and unnecessary. Don't worry about it -- all you should worry about is ensuring that you fully test your hard drive before using InstantCake.
