I want to replace the 80 gig drive in my DTivo with a 200 gig drive. Do you have software that will allow me to access the entire 200 gig's?

Next do you have a software that will allow me to activate the HMO on my Series 2 DTivo with RID?

The only product we offer that will allow you to use the entire 200GB of the drive for your DVR80 is PTVnet, which is not sold as a software product, but a complete bundle.

We don't encourage the installation of the Standalone TiVo softare 4.x which is what would be needed to run HMO on your unit, so therefore, we offer no products to do so.

Can I remove the 200 gig from my DTivo that I had expanded with the Hinsdale method, reformat it and use your InstantCake on it? Can I reformat the drive in Dos or I am sure there must be some way to format it in Linux if you would point me that way.

Sorry for all these questions but I am very new to this, sure that you had guessed that all ready.

Thanks.

You sure can. But you'll only be using 137GB of that drive. If this is all new to you than you haven't done your reading; that's why we have this thread (Questions about InstantCake? READ THIS FIRST), so do give that a look-see.
