I mean talk about your awkward product placements. Sibling Rivalry And since we’re on the subject of awkwardness, it’s exactly how we imagine a family dinner at the Carver residence might feel. After real-life twins Charles and Max Carver, who play fictional Scavo hellians Porter and Preston respectively realize that one of them got the serious short-end of the stick in the story-line department! Memo to Paramount: You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Which is why this TV Addict is left scratching his head over your short sighted decision to hold off on releasing the official STAR TREK movie trailer online until Monday at noon (startrekmovie.com) . You would think that you’d want o re-introduce one of your most valuable Franchises in the best of possible lights. And that leaving the millions of potential ticket buyers who didn’t contribute to QUANTOM OF SOLACE’s 70 plus million dollar opening weekend with an incredibly poor quality YouTube bootleg is probably not be the best method when it comes to generating positive word of mouth. In fact, one fairly prominent pointy-eared philosopher might go as far to say that your strategy with regards to this weekend’s TREK trailer release (or lack thereof) is well, highly illogical. Just a thought from one TV Addict who is very much cheering for J.J.
