I have been surfing for this anser on this ofrum and others for days. Does anyabody know a way to extract the content on the DVR and transfer them to a computer. I understand that the USB and Ehternet ports cannot be used to do this? Is thier antoher way.

 If I removed the Hard Drive from the HD22 Box and inserted in an external HD closure with USB, will the content remail in a readable format?

Looking for the easiest way to archive my recording on to antoher drive or burn them on to a DVD.
