Direct TV sux azz cause they wont activate the USB or Ethernet ports on their boxes. There must be a way to hack them and get them to broadcast or at least talk to my PC so I can download my HD movies and burn them onto Blu Ray disks. Anyone know how to do this????

The problem is that the ports arent just "disabled", but also, there is no software/drivers on the DVR to interact with those ports in the first place, so unfortunately there is no way (short of writing an entire OS to replace what is already on the DirecTV DVR) for that to happen.
