Thats simple. All you have to do is call up Dish Network and let them know you need a replacement box. It doesn't cost anything. I had to get a replacement do to a faulty remote. It's not like you own the box. They are on lease from Dish network. Each box is leased to their customers for around 5-7$/month . As long as you didn't break it tampering with the insides or anything it should be no problem.
Hello all. I am new to this site so I am not sure if I am posting in the right section or not. My parents have a dishnet dvr, one box that operates 2 t.v.s and it is 3 or 4 years old. I believe the hard drive in it may be going out. Can the hard drive be replaced. I have not opened the box up or anything I was just wondering if it could be done. I told them to contact dishnet about it, but my parents said they would have to buy a new box and they don't have the money, my dad is disabled and my mom's work is slow. I'd like to fix it for them if it is possible. Any comments would be appreciated.
