Please!!!  Someone answer my prayers and help me!

I have Directv, and use a Samsung DVR unit.  How can I take the video files

off the hard drive of the DVR unit and put them on my PC?

I have no problem removing the hard drive from the DVR unit.

Is there a way to do this???  Once again, I am new at this...so be gentle....
