O.K. I went ahead and purchased IC because of a problem I was having with my Hughes SD-DVR40 stuck at the "Welcome powering up" screen. I put the HDD in my PC and it didn't recognize it so it looks like the culprit was indeed the HDD. Used the IC on a spare 200G HDD I has sitting around and now my DVR works like new ;)  Now here comes the tricky part. A few years ago I added an extra HDD to increase record time. I kept my original HDD and added the other HDD.(I know big mistake) Here's what I want to know. As of now only the newly baked HDD w/IC is hooked up. Can I hook up my other HDD or will I run into problems? I'm afraid to go ahead and do it.
