I haven't noticed anything else yet, but I do sort of like the new icons.

I just got my "Fall 2007" service update from Tivo a few days ago. As far as I can tell, there have been two changes made:
- The wishlist logic has changed to allow for compound search parameters. The logical joins are pretty convoluted: instead of traditional AND, OR, NOT operators, Tivo uses "Required", "Excluded", and "Optional"). Nice to have compound logic, but it seems a little clunky.
- All my fonts and icons have changed. I guess Tivo felt they needed to update their look.
Anybody else gotten the update yet? Besides these two changes, have you noticed anything else that changed?
Something else I noticed - Tivo's new wishlist logic actually broke some of my old wishlists. For example, I had a wishlist that autorecorded shows that met the keywords "CHICAGO BEARS NFL". That wishlist USED to automatically record my Bears games, but now it doesn't work anymore. I had to rebuild the wishlist to make "NFL" a Title word and "CHICAGO" and "BEARS" two separate keywords. It's working again, but how totally annoying to have to rebuild these things!
I almost never use the wishlist, so I haven't explored any changes yet.
The chief difference I notice on my S3 is that when I bring up the now playing list, it displays a blank screen for 10 to 15 seconds before the list becomes visible.
After that Fall 2007 update I noticed a huge, sweeping slow-down on my Humax DRT800 in just about every action performed from the remote. Pressing the Tivo button now takes 5-7 seconds before the Now Playing menu appears. Deleting programs take 10+ seconds. Everything about the Humax now seems like it's had molasses poured into its CPU. I like the new icons and the fresh look, but I'm beginning to think that the Tivo OS has outgrown the S2 hardware. ...But I'll live with it because I really like the added capabilities the recent upgrades have added to my Lifetime investment. I haven't bought an Unbox video yet, but I have downloaded several of the free offerings and I LOVE the new "TivoCast" feature that brings me "Cranky Geeks", the NY Times, Frederator and CNet!! I just wish there would be a way to subscribe to ANY podcast directly from the Tivo instead of having to use iTunes and pushing them to the Tivo via Tivo Desktop Plus. But if they were to add everything I might wish for, the Tivo would be under such processor stress that it would be come unusable.
A second Fall Update has been released for the S3.
It appears to cut down the delay before the Now Playing List is displayed.
Even more important is that MRV has finally been activated for the S3. I haven't tested this yet, since I currently have only one tivo box.
This update also allows the TivoDesktop to transfer shows to and from your PC. I have tested this and it seems to work fine, but it is slow on my system. It seems to take almost as long to transfer a show as the S3 took to record it in the first place.
I've also seen slower performance on my S2 now that the Fall update has been loaded. Anybody know if Tivo is working on another update for the S2's (like Bruce mentioned for the S3's) to help with the performance woes.
Thanks for the TivoCast recommendation, MacBrian. I haven't really played with that yet, but I'll definitely have to check that out. "Cranky Geeks" sounds right up my ally.
I have played with transferring shows to PC (and back to the Tivo from PC - great way to archive stuff). I've also done the Amazon Unbox stuff - pretty slick.
