My old Direct TV DVR40's Power Supply went. I bought a used DVR40 and have the two 120GB drives that I bought and upgraded. I tried exchanguing the power supply into the old DVR 40 bought I guess it was more than the Power Supply. I cannot copy either of these drives to a new Hard Drive or read them on the new DVR40. Is there any way to read these Hard Drives and remove some of the programs I had saved on them. Is there a way to check to see if there is anything saved on these Hard Drives or a program to repair them? They check out OK using the Maxtor CD.
