Does anyone know a way to download recorded programs from the explorer 8300HD to a PC so I can store or record them to DVD?

I use a VCR and transfer it to a VHS tape, then hook the VCR to my computer's video card with composite video cables (Y,B,R) and use a Cyberlink program that came with my Digital Video Cam and upload it to my PC. I hope that help ya!

that seems like an extremely long winded way to get the data onto your computer, as it has to be in real-time TWICE. There must be a better way. ANybody??
