Hello everyone.
I just downloaded InstantCake for my Hughes Hdvr2. I've burned the ISO image onto a CD. My question is for setting up my computer to boot the CD. After looking at the instructions, I am confused as to the computer setup.
1. Should the Cdrom be on the primary or the secondary IDE slot on the motherboard? The instructions say it should be connected as the Primary slave device. If it is to be connected on the primary IDE, should the jumper on the CDrom be slave?
2. What should the new Hardrive be on? The primary IDE slot as master? The Secondary IDE slot as master?
Sorry for the nooby questions...

OK,
I got everything working. Wow! this software is great and very easy to do the upgrade. The only complaint, and it is a small one, is that the ISO download is software version 6.2a-01-2-151. My current software on my other Directv is 6.2a-01-2-361. This only means that I had to force a call, download the update and wait for the update to install.
Other than that, the software worked perfectly.
