my ptvupgrade 120GB disk was dying, so I decided to upgrade to a WD250GB drive. I purchased the universal boot CD 11.  I tried to dd_rescue my 120 over to the 250 drive to save my recording. but I could never get mfsadd to work (the 120GB image booted fine on the 250GB drive). I decided to proceed with a basic mfsbackup and a restore that would expand to use the entire drive. Worked fine. I ran nic_install, then copykern. Tivo boots, cachecard boots and works with no issues, however I cannot telnet into it.

I am wondering if the universal boot CD had the correct copykern for 3.5b.
