I’m Vicki, the new editor for CN. Everyone calls me Vic, even my own mother. Your choice.

I’ve been writing since I was able to hold a pencil, and I’ve been an editor for more than 12 years. I’ve worked with a variety of content, from technical papers in research sciences (mostly chemistry, engineering, and pharmaceuticals) to children’s books. I’ve participated in, and even hosted, a couple of writers’ groups over the years. I’m nearly always online, and you can always send me a PM.

If you hear me blither on about weird things like mass extinctions, the Alvarez Theory, or AlGore’s backward hurricane, that’s because I have a degree in physical science (geology), and another in writing. Yes, folks, I majored in not one, but TWO subjects that have almost zero job prospects! I also have a background in education, with a focus on gifted children. You may hear me declare my love for Montessori, charter education, and homeschooling as well.

I’m very happy to be a part of Capable’s team, and I look forward to getting to know you better as we work toward building DVRplayground into the biggest, bestest DVR-centric online community that the ‘tubes will ever see!
