Hello,

I currently have a series 1 tivo which i've upgraded to 320g and i'm about
to install a turbonet card. I've waded thru dozens of post trying to
 find the answer to my questions about the turbonet card and while i'm
finding bits and peices of the answers that i want, i still do not have the
 full picture so here goes

1. I already have a 320 gig drive that i've upgraded via intacake. Do i have to re install the upgraded hard drive in my machine when i  install the turbonet card or can the card be installed without effecting my existing setup?

2.my main purpose for purchasing the card is so i can eventually schedule recordings  via a computer but i'm not a 100% clear what else the card will allow me to do.   its my understanding that with Telnet/ftp i can offload video content to my pc ? also it makes a daily call that updates the clock and the tv listing ?  (can this be done without a tivo subcription ?) in other words i'm looking for a brief summary or description or a link to what this card will allow me to do
