Hi Guys,

I've just completed the InstantcakeHD and PTVnetHD on a new 500GIG hard drive for my HR10-250 DirectTIVO. After an initial Error #51 which cleared after I did a clear and delete, that seemed to resolve, even though the DVR Service Level: P:- seems a little weird (":P-") but the DVR service: Active seems to suggest all is well with the TiVo part of things. Unfortunately, it's demanding a call, even though I set that flag to "off" before I can use the Seasons Pass etc. I thought that the PTVnet would take care of this. I'm not actually able to make a phone call through this system.

Any suggestions?

 Thanks,

Doug

Well,

I think I've sorted out the problem. Not sure why, but after running the PTVnetHD and InstankcakeHD 6.3, and reinstalling it into the TiVo, I got an error #51 in the messages. The DVR Status is Active but still have that funning P:- designation on the first system information page. Regardless, after I cleared the message the system clearly had TiVo capabilities. I didn't do a "Clear and Delete All". That seems to have been what screwed me up in the first place. No demand for test call.

Anyway, great two pieces of software!

Thanks Folks,

Doug

n|trous dude- Even after I had run InstantCake and PTVnet on my D Tivos I would still get the message that I hadn't made a call in 200 and some odd days. It did not seem to effect my service though. Once I ran Superpatch-67all I never received the messages again. Now that I had installed the new SW Update and reinstalled Superpatch-62a I am still not receiving any messages to call. So Superpatch for your system/software version will help also.

n|trous dude, did you correctly install PTVnet and InstantCake per the PTVnet instructions? Boot from PTVnet and insert InstantCake when prompted.
