I recently moved my daughter's tivo into my room and did a clear and delete programming.  After about 4 hours I did several hard boots but it just keeps going back to the message.  Can anyone help?

I have heard of Clear and Delete Everything taking as long at 3 days to complete... Surprised How long have you just left it going for? It could be that you just need to leave it longer than you currently are. The other piece of this puzzle is that you shouldn't be pulling the plug on the TiVo when it's doing a Clear and Delete Everything, nothing good ever comes from that.

I would leave it running for a while and see if you luck out, failing that you'll be looking at replacing the drive, or at least putting a fresh drive image on your current drive, all is not lost!

Is it possible to recover any data if  you think you accidently did a 'clear delete everything'?
