I haven't opened the box yet, so I don't know if there's room for a 2nd disk.  If there is, can I keep the original TiVo disk in the unit so I don't loose the recordings I (my wife) wants to keep?

 Thanks

Yep.  You can add a drive and just gain capacity, however, when you do that, both drives are married together, so if one fails, the other is rendered useless.

Thanks, but I knew what I was thinking, but didn't put it in writing.  The disk I want to keep the original with is the new PTVnet Single DRK.  Will it work with that, and if so, how do I connect it?  Thanks.
