I just upgraded my system with the PVT and instacake.  When I go into hack man I see that I am getting OAS like this for my local channels: Receive= Yes
Favorite= No
SignalType= 6 (DirecTV)

NetworkID= 664
Transponder= 52
NumStreams= 0
ServiceType= 2 (AtscDigitalTv)
Spi= 124 (Terrestrial)
StreamType= (no value)I do have Terrestrial receiver but it is not hooked up to my DTV tivo box. I have two questions: Can I hook up my antenna to my DTV BOX with out going to standby for reception?

Can I hook up my regular antenna from my terrestrial box to my DTV Tivo unit?   I am running 6.2 software.

You can hook up the antenna through the unit to the tv, just as a pass through, but you don't have a HR10-250, so you can't record off of the antenna.

and will I need to set my box on  stand-by to see the chanels?

No, you will not be able to see them in your channel grid.

Yes, you need to put the box in standby to see them on your tv, but it's just as easy to get them through directv.

If you want to get your Boston locals instead of RI, you're better off getting an HR10-250, we sell them, www.dvrupgrade.com and then hook up your antenna through it.  You'll get them in your guide, as long as you get HD locals through ota.  You can goto anteannaweb.org and look at what you can get from your location.
