Hello,

I am having a weird problem that I have not encountered before. I just recently purchased the PTVNet upgrade as well as the 3.1.5f image w/ hacks from DVRUpgrade. I imaged a new 300gb drive to accomplish this and to make sure I had a way to go back to my previous drive if something went wrong.

After the upgrade I completed the Guided setup.  I have a HR10-250 w/ an OTA antenna as well.  I want to be able to remove the DirecTV Local Channels from the "Channels you receive" list since I get them via the OTA feed (in HD).  I have gone into the channels you receive menu and deselected the local channels provided by the satellite feed and left the OTA ones.  However, they are not being removed from the channel list when browsing through things.

It has been  4 days since I completed the upgrade.  It took around 10 hours for the local channels to appear in the setup.  (which was expected according to the doc).  What I don't understand is why the ones I am deselecting still show up in the guide data.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shawn

Make sure you are only selecting less than 20 at a time.  There is a software bug that if you select more than that, it will not work.

Also, make sure you go to the top of the screen and say ok or bottom of the screen and say ok, not just left arrow out of the selection.

and ensure you are actually looking at the correct guide on the screen.  By default, it looks at all channels.

Thanks for the information.  It turns out I was making a silly mistake and had the guide set to "All Channels" and not "Channels you receive"

 Oops :)

 Thanks again,

Shawn
