Some questions -
I think I am going to purchase from ptvupgrade the Phillips 704 w/o drive.
I am fairly computer literate - have installed drives memory, cards, etc so I feel this project will be easy.

1. Looking at purchasing this 300GB hard drive for $80A/R http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Seag...roductDetail.do
Is this drive OK - I beleive it meets requirements needed for Tivo just wanted to double check

2. What else is needed - Instantcake $20 series 2 DirecTivo 6.2

3. PTV network $20 so I can set up network

4. What else is needed for networking - how does tivo communicate, I have a wrt54gs wireless router (which can run wires as well as wireless)

5. Can I get caller id running on this?
