No, joe isn't part of PTVnet. If you want it, you can run rbautch's enhancement script, mentioned here. Go directly to the bottom of the article; there's no need to download any of the Zipper.

Yog:

Is there no way to install just "JOE without running "rbautch's enhancement script". I just don't want to take a change of messing up up my USB200M.Ver2.

I can't seem to find it if there is.

Thanks:

Keep in mind that you can choose "no" to anything you don't want to install with rbautch's script.

Would you happen to know why the script would make Tytools not to connect. Everything else is working fine. I set it up with a static IP and tytools will not allow me to use anything but 192.168.0.100 which is my computer. I set it up to use .125. Strange and it will not connect to the tivo.

I've never had any problem with Tytools, but this has got me stomped.

Thanks for all your help Yog!!

If you have trouble starting the server from within TyTool, enter whatever your bash prompt is into the "Server Shell Prompt String" under Options > Preferences > Server. Example: one of my TiVos is "HD-TiVo-bash#".

I did as you said but to no avail. I then went an telnetted and started the server manual and did a refresh with tytools and it worked and it allowed me to connect and download a .ty, but it will not allow me to do it from the tytools itself.

It had to have something to do with the "Enhancements" i did or the IP itself.
