I have a Series 2 TCD240080 and 400GB IDE drive. I Downloaded the "Universal Boot CD Version 1" that I just purchased. I'd like to copy my existing TiVo drive to the new one. (Is this a long process if I only have perhaps 10 hours in best quality?)

I got the CD to boot without hooking up the drives using the F8 key. I know that the new drive has to initially be a secondary slave but when do I hookup my existing TiVo disk? I don't want to run the risk of putting "IC" on the original disk.

I use Mac's so any obvious PC experience would be appreciated.
