Has anyone heard the term "Digital Native" yet?  I just read an interesting article in USA Today that talks about this emerging concept ... the idea that some kids are so integrated with their gadgets and technology that they can't envision surviving without it.  It's essentially another name for the "Melinnial" generation (the one after "Generation X").

Have it really gotten that bad?  How many of you out here would consider yourselves to be "digital natives"?  Anyone find your TiVo something you just can't live without?

I don't need my *five* TiVos, but they are sure nice to have. The Slingbox A/V I just bought is also something I don't need, but will come in handy on my road trips.

HR10-250, Samsung SIR-S4120R, SIR-S4080R, 2 Philips DSR704s (one connected to a Slingbox A/V). One box used the "Zipper"; rest used PTVnet to enable networking features.

I'll admit to being "digital native" even though I'm thirty-something.  I can't imagine living without a laptop, cell phone and TiVo (especially on Thursday nights).

A couple weeks ago the hacked hard drive in our main TiVo died and my wife actually called me at work full of panic...  I would call her "digital native" too.
