I posted earlier...looks like I screwed up my upgrade from a 40-hr series 2 to a 250GB drive.

Well, I got the original drive back in, working, and all's well. Now, I want to do it again, but I'm concerned. Do I need to somehow wipe out the new drive so I start with a virgin? Or do I just follow the instructions on the TiVo upgrade site and all should go well?

If I need to wipe the new drive, how do I do it?

No need to wipe the drive - InstantCake will overwrite anything that is there.
