QUESTION:

I'm caking for a friend, and I'm wondering if I can test his machine w/ my card to make sure it boots up okay. Obviously I wont be able to test all the channels, but I can at least make sure I can reach channel 100.

Or if its connected to my satellite and card (not activated w/ this tivo) and has downloaded the satelite info, will he have a problem using this tivo at his home? Or should I just cake w/o verifying at my house?
