1. I'm currently using a TCD540040 series 2 DVR running software version 7.3.1. If I upgrade, can I get back to this software version? Will the DVR continue to receive the latest upgrades from Tivo.com or will it void the lifetime account?

 

2. Can I use a 300 GB hard drive?
