I know that technically this isn't supported but I found a solution that worked for my unit that I thought I would pass along. Using Instantcake I was having the unit either freeze at the start up screen or generate the GSOD and continually reboot. The solution for me was to increase the swap file size from the standard 127MB to 160MB for a 320GB drive. The rule of thumb for drives over 250GB seems to be 1MB for every 2GB of storage. I now have 110/411 hours of storage. Hope that this helps someone else.
