Hi, I am new to this. I'd like to upgrade my TIVO series 2 TCD140060 and install a larger HD. What is the largest size I can use with my box. Software ver. 7.3.1 . I read a bit about 48 bit addressing, is it a software or hardware modification, do you think it is already installed on my box? just wanted to know a bit technical side...

did a bit of reading. I am confused, from previous posts and after reading release notes for IC i understand that there is no support for drives larger than 138 Gb in the kernel of TCD140060. But then in LBA48 CD i see that it will support any TIVO S2 standalone unit running soft ver. 7.X. Can please someone clarify if IC with or without LBA48 CD enable me to install and fully use 300G Hard drive on TCD140060?
