My first and only Tivo fried today <sniff>.  I ordered a new one but thought what the heck, why let a completely intact piece of electronic equipment go to waste!  So I busted out some tools and started unscrewing.  After a while I decided to do some searching on the internet to see if I could find a replacement drive (which I did) but then I thought why buy the ready to use one?  Why not try to REALLY do it myself.  So here I am.  I've been reading all I can here but I'm wondering if there is some "guide" or great article to read for a newbie like me?  Is a program like instantcake user friendly to a first time user?  I'd love any advice you could possibly give me and would greatly appreciate it!!!!!  Thanks
