Dude. I am new to to this stuff. I am not as smart as you when it comes to this type of thing. Please do not be beating me up in the forums. Sometimes it takes so long to get an answer or it seems people think your question is stupoid or something so they do not bother answering it. Remember we are not all Tivo geniouses like you. I see questions that go unanswered for weeks.

Bumping is considered rude on a bulletin board. As Moderator, it's my responsibility to correct actions such as that. In no way was I saying, "You suck, newb, STFU." Believe it or not, I'm still a "newb" by some TiVo hacker's standards; I just help where I can.

Just because a post goes unanswered doesn't mean people are ignoring you or that it's a stupid question. I go out of my way to answer as many posts as I can, but, believe or not, I don't have an answer for everything. I'm only a Moderator, not "Official Technical Support Help Desk," so I'm not obligated to answer any posts. If you look at all of the responses to your questions, you'll see that I go above and beyond what I'm required to do. I prefer to not just be a "Forum Nazi."

DVRplayground is a COMMUNITY, and anyone is welcome to answer questions. It is NOT a company tech support board where once a question is answered, the poster "goes away" until he has another question.

If the board feels like only a tech support board, we need to know that. It should be a place for people to hang out and talk about day-today things and not just TiVo questions.
