I've had no luck with finding any of the adaptors listed in the "Compatible USB-Ethernet Adapters..." thread, especially the Netgear FA120 or the Linksys USB200M Rev1.  That said, I've found some random USB1.1 adapters still being sold at Fry's, namely the Trendnet MEDIAnet TU-ET100C.  Does anyone know if this adaptor is compatible with PTVnet?  Thanks much in advance.

I found this at PVRblog. Apparently, it works. If you confirm it works, I'll add it to the list.

HR10-250, Samsung SIR-S4120R, SIR-S4080R, 2 Philips DSR704s (one connected to a Slingbox A/V). One box used the "Zipper"; rest used PTVnet to enable networking features.

Working!  Samsung SIR-4040R upgraded with a 160GB HD using PTVNet/InstantCake 6.2.  Thanks.
