Got a Mac?
Want to be able to Stream your now playing list in Tivoweb for playback on a Mac? Here's how:
1) you are going to need VLC. Hands down the Best Media Player on the Mac. http://videolan.org.
then
download more internet:
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16066
add protocol tivo and tell it to open with vlc.
next you need to modify the tivoweb module ui.itcl.
Find the line that says
change it to say
change the ip to your tivo's ip (duh)
lastly edit tivoweb.cfg to say TyShowLinks = 1.
restart tivowebplus.
Your now showing list will now have view links that can be seen with vlc.

And just to mention a couple of other OS X options for streaming vid to your Mac.
http://www.tivotool.com/ <- the best thing I've found for interacting with my Series 1
http://dvd-create.sourceforge.net/tys... <- require X11
Galleon - no link from me, because I think this is for Series 2 only

Has anyone gotten VLC to work? I cannot. I want to be able to just VLC open the stream if I know the FSID, but cannot get it work.
I have the latest version of VLC 0.8.6, but think I need newer libraries to add to it. Haven't been able to find them.
Any help?
