I followed instructions at http://dealdatabase.com/forum/showthr... and now my system won't boot. What is the best/easiest method of fixing it. It seems like I just need to copy tivoapp.orig contents back to tivoapp. The question is how do I get to it.

Since I can't finish the boot - it's stuck on "almost there" or whatever the message is when you reboot, right before satellite acquisition - it seems like a serial cable would be useless. It seems more likely that I need to put it in a PC and fix it there. Are there any instructions for doing this? Settings? How to?
