Is there going to be any kind of conflict if there are 2 tivos on the network that have the same Client Host Name. Ex:PTVupgrade-TiVo-Series2 and PTVupgrade-TiVo-Series2.

No - each unit will have its own MAC address and should then get a different IP address. The hostid is just a label that is added for your router, to make it easier for you identify things.

If you look in /ptvupgrade/etc you'll find a dhclient.conf. In it is

interface "eth0" {
send host-name "PTVupgrade-TiVo-Series2";
}

Change the host-name to whatever you wish and reboot. If you use Windows, make sure you use an editor such as Win32Pad (Unix capable) to edit the file.

FWIW, on both of my Samsung SIR-S120R PTVNet/InstantCake/SuperPatched machines, editing the dhclient.conf in /ptvupgrade/etc did not work.  Doing a quick find for dhclient.conf, there was another located in /etc.  When I changed that one, it worked.
