Bought a new Sony RM-Y809 remote to replace my old malfunctioning remote - the "2" on the numerical pad doesn't work, nor does the Power button work. All other buttons do. The new remote doesn't communicate with the recorder. Sony sent another remote. It too wont work. Sony tech support to date hasn't found out why. Yes, the batteries are new, and properly intalled. Anyone have any ideas how to make the new remote function? Thanks, Fatcat21
