How would I go about getting Telnet/FTP/Bash etc on a standalone series 2 (TCD24008A)? I'd prefer to do it myself (buying a CD if needed). I already have a USB-Ethernet and TiVo is on the network.

I got my series1 nicely hacked years ago, but series2 seems complicated enough that it would be worth purchasing some help.

Please clarify:
I get the impression that "PTVnet DIY CD" is for networking DirectTV units? Would this help at all to get Telnet/FTP on series 2 SA?

InstantCake/Universal Boot CD - for backing up capacity upgrades adding disks etc..?
