What's the largest hard drive I can use with Instant Cake?

I didn't ask about the best hard drive, just size. I have no desire to debate the merits of one brand over another with anyone.

I have a 300 GB hard drive and I want to make sure it will work with Instant Cake - yet over in tivocommunity someone was complaining it didn't work with their 250GB drive. I find that hard to believe, but the requirements for drive size are not documented in any of the documentation, installs or read me's (I've read all I can find!) and the only two threads I have found here where others asked about hard drive size degenerated into hard drive brand wars - you might as well talk about politics or religion :rolleyes:

So, if there is a maximum sized hard drive that can be used, what is it? Is there a difference for series 1 or series 2?
