fixed it finally
Finally figured it out, the only constant was the burner, used a different burner and it worked fine. The only problem is that I didn't get any channels under 100 after I did the "clear and delete everything". Will they eventually load up or did I do something wrong? I put my old drive back in so I could watch football Sunday. I'll put the IC drive back in Monday

I have tried to run instantcake for half a day now. It always hangs at about 170 mb of the 1400. I have tried both Roxio and Nero to burn the iso, but get the same error. I have tried 3 different CD-ROMs and 2 different pc's with different chipsets. HELP...... is there a way to copy to another spare hd, then restore from it?
This seems like a burning error but I don't know. Also I downloaded the iso twice.
Thanks for any help I can get.
