WARNING: LINUX IGNORANCE HEREIN!!!
I made a bootable disk from my downloaded ISO and it boots to Linux OK. I chose nodma since I don't know any better. It runs through all the mounting stuff but then just stays a the /# prompt. Does this mean my computer is too old (P350 w/128Mb RAM)? I tried to access some of the files on the disk but I don't have priveleges. Typing "instantcake" doesn't help.
InstantCake should run automatically when the CD boots. Are you sure you are not using a different boot CD?
