I have upgraded PhilipsDSR708 with Instantcake,Ptvnet, and NutKase's superpatch67all.things worked fine for ! month ,until last week.
I now constantly lose computer internet connection and Nowplaying List disappears on DSR708 unit.
Looking in the Westell router/modem connection logs I see the error :

"DNS: Unknown host (list of numbers)"
Verizon is sending a new DSL router/modem.
Using Hackman, I have set the DSR708 to Static hoping that would solve the dropped connection problems.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. thank you.

ERROR :
0,1:29:28 PPP CONNECTED on VPI 0 VCI 35

0,1:29:28 Connecting session(0): My Connection due to AlwaysOn

0,1:28:58 PPP CONNECTION ERROR on VPI 0 VCI 35 : Could not establish Link

0,1:28:57 PPP CONNECTION ERROR on VPI 0 VCI 35 : Could not establish Link

0,1:28:57 Disconnecting session(0): My Connection due to PADT received

This info. is listed in Westell diagnostic log I get when connection drops, I don't think that it is a Ptvupgrade problem; but a Verizon one.
So it has something to do with PADT recieved, Verizon problem.

UPDATE ERROR :Disconnecting session(0): My Connection due to PADT received

only happens when DSR708 is connected to Westell Gateway
if I unplug DVR from the Westell , internet connection never fails.
