Does it give you the error every time? You may want to reboot (if you haven't already) and start it again to see if you get the error.
Sounds like just initial info, setting its own config. I would think you wouldn't have a problem.
I have a Phillips DSR708. Used Instantcake and Ptvnet. Eveything seems to work fine except for this "warning" I recieve when starting Hackman:
A path, pathname or startup conflict has been found...
(this message is informational, and does not indicate an error)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hackman found /ptvupgrade/bin/tivoftpd startup commands in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.author
but found /ptvupgrade/bin/tivoftpd in the file scan.
ftppathname has been set to /ptvupgrade/bin/tivoftpd.
hackman found /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root startup commands in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.author
but found /ptvupgrade/busybox/crond in the file scan.
cronpathname has been set to /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root.
You may want to make adjustments if this conflict resolution was incorrect,
or perhaps resolve any multiple startup issues
What can I do to resolve this message? I'm Not sure what it means.
thanks!
I recieved the informational message every time Hackman was started.
From the "Edit files and preferences..." page, I checked the box
'Suppress path conflict notifications' the message went away.
but I would still like to know the meaning of the message, if I need to edit something.
