Did you replace the nowshowing file with the one posted for 6.2 If not here is the one I got from Deal database to fix the problem Also, If you haven't turned off scrambling you will need Alphawolf's patch which can be found here.

My new PTV drive installed, and runs great! However, tytool has issues.
Seems it is all connected properly, connects to the running server, then
when I hit refresh, I get a "sorry".....
Trancode Selected Mode: 0
Ready...
Reading list from the server...
Clear Now Showing List...
Connecting to '192.168.1.6'
Connected...
Getting NowShowing data...
Sorry.. Could not obtain the list.
What am I missing? Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I swear I've searched
and searched for this error to no avail.
EDIT: Dang, right after posting, found this thread:

Ok sorry but now the bad news... If you haven't used AlphaWolf's patch yet, all the files currently on your TIVO are scrambled. Follow the directions on the link I sent and you should be good to go for all future recordings. Just accept that the ones you have can not be downloaded as MPEGS or cut to DVD.
And to the guys at PTV thanks for fixing the link.

I have a similar problem. Just had PTVupgrade install DVRchive and TyStudio Editor cannot get the NowShowing list. If the answer is to turn encrytion off, how can I do that? Thanks.
