Ok, here are the problems I have... if someone can help, I would be very greatful...

When I go to TivoWEB, I want to view programs (upcoming). However I see all the channels, but my local channels are not there... its from Chicago... which is where the company who put this together is located... Now I have already updated my guide, so I'm assuming this guide is coming from somewhere else...

I also get script errors when I go into some of the menu choices for Tivo Web...

Now Data is on my Tivo, I have my local channels now and I have one season pass added... however, the web does not show it...

Ok, on to my next problem... I wanted to install the superpatch so I can do the HMO thing... I uploaded the file tcl file to the tivo via FTP... then telneted into the tivo and tried to run the program... (yes, I gave my self 777 permissions and tried 755 permissions). However, it kept saying this is not a program or a file... and would not run... I even tried to copy it to different directories with no luck...

Then I found there was a new version of the TivoWEB plus... I wanted to upload it, but the same problem came up...

ok, here is what I did...

I downloaded the file from dealsdatabase and unzipped it. Then I changed the name of the folder so that I could find it easier...

Then I FTP'd into the Tivo with no username

then I said put
and it says local file and I typed in the full path to the file superpatch....

Then it says remote file and I just called it the same name, no file path...

so then I telneted into the tivo... did a ls command and could not see the file

So I did a CD and pressed enter
did a ls again and was able to find the file

then I did CHMOD 755 and the file name
no errors

then I did

./filename

and it said this isn't a file or a directory... and would not launch...

The tivoweb update I'm not sure how to do... I'm not sure exactly where to place it...

also, I'm not sure where to run the file from... I tried the /etc directory and one other

also, I did mount the hard drive to start... I did the remount .... hdl7 command... and it didn't give me an error message...

Here is the exact error I get when I run the patch

No problem... I'm going to work on this again on the weekend... I tried to mess with this the other night and killed one of my wife's programs she wanted to record, so I'm in the dog house until the weekend...

Anyways, I did read after your post were it should be tranfered in binary mode. I have used Linux before and haven't had problems like that, but of course, this is a different flavor. I just hope that I can activate the HMO feature. I actually installed the instantcake software for the standalone tivo and used the boot CD from this site... then I installed the super patch on another drive ( this was all on another computer following directions). It seemed to work ok, but I need the HMO to work with this PTV image that I purchased...
