Hello

I downloaded your InstantCake for my Series 1 Philips 6000r and installed it easily. But putting it back in the Dtivo unit it will not boot up. I tried it with 2 different hard draive to confirm the drives are ok and I get the same issue. The drive is powering up but not booting. The yellow hard drive light on the Dtivo is a slow flashing yellow light. The drive sounds like it is getting stuck trying to mount.

I looked everywhere in your forum and cannot find anyone with the same issue.

Any ideas?

Is your original drive booting properly in your DSR6000? Are you certain that the problem you were having was hard-drive related?

Perhaps you have a bad IDE cable? Perhaps its the unit itself? What have you done to isolate the problem? Have you run diagnostics on any of the drives you are using? It is possible, however unlikely, that you have multiple bad drives. Best to narrow things down using the process of elimination.
