I have a Hughes SDR40, tivo automaticly upgraded to 6.2
Got the ICAKE-S2DT-62 downloaded.
when 'baking' the process goes to 99% or 1450 megs out of 1453 then it says:
Restore failed: Decompression error..87%) (81.25% compression)

Cannot continue -- processing aborted

I already scaned my drives for errors they are 2x WD1600, of course both on the secondary IDE channel, as instructed
I already downloaded twice the file and burned new CD's
I am using a Tyan Thunder K8W (S2885) motherboard with dual opterons 240's

What should I do now?

Try searching this forum for "decompression" and you will find a few other threads where this issue has been raised. Seems that some folks have been able to resolve the problem by reburning their CD's at a slower speed or with a different brand of media. In some cases, it has been a PC / CPU issue, but I think that is rare.
