Hi,
I have a TiVo Brand TCD20040 SA S2 TiVo, which I have upgraded to a 200gb HDD and am restoring from a virgin 6.2 MFS image. I have purchased the $5 LBA CD from PTVUpgrades, however I am a bit confused as to which kernel I should be using, 3.1.1, 3.1.5, 4.0.1??
Also, when setting the bootpage, I've been confused as to if you should point to /dev/hda7 or /dev/hdc7
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
Not sure exactly what you are attempting to do, or whose guide you are referring to and following. If all you want to do is expand you 6.2 image to utilize the entier 200GB drive, then you don't need to mess with any of the kernels on the LBA48CD; just boot with it and restore your image appropriately to the drive. The 6.2 kernel is already lba48.
